Overview

Vantage does not contain page numbers because it is not an eBook. As a Digital Learning Platform Vantage combines narrative content from the textbook with gradable activities and assignments that are not found in the print textbook or eBook. This means there is not a direct correlation between the page numbers in print with the content in Vantage.

How to assign reading to students without page numbers

While there are no page numbers to reference in the Vantage Learning Platform, all the major sections and learning objectives within each chapter in Vantage align with those in the print textbook and eBook options. 

We recommend using the numbered sections within each chapter in Vantage to assign reading to your students, as those section numbers are easy to locate and navigate within the Vantage table of contents.

The section numbers in Vantage are also clearly visible in your Assignments page (to make it easy for you to assign) and in your students’ Assignments tab on their Dashboard (to make them easy to find).

How to locate specific content from the print book inside Vantage

Vantage includes a robust search engine that will allow you to quickly locate any content within the book you are using on the platform. The search option can be found at the top right of your screen when you are navigating within the content.
