How do I grade sync new assignments in Canvas?

When you grade sync assignments from Vantage in your Canvas course, they do not automatically appear in the Assignments section or Gradebook in Canvas.

Creating the grade sync link is step one of the process. Step two requires you to select any Vantage link in your Canvas course to complete the grade sync connection.

Once you select the link, you can see the assignments in Canvas on the Assignments page and in the Gradebook.

Once you have created the link between your Vantage and Canvas courses, if you add new assignments from Vantage, the new assignments do not automatically sync. These new assignments will not appear on the Assignments page or in the Gradebook.

To add the new assignment, select any Vantage link in any module. Selecting the link creates the grade sync connection for new assignments.

To verify the assignments were synced to Canvas, review the Assignments section or the columns in your gradebook.
