What are the next steps once I receive a Vantage fulfillment email?

After adopting Vantage, the Sage Implementation Team will send you a fulfillment email with instructions and helpful links to support material for your course. You will be invited to attend live instructor training to walk through the steps of setting up, linking, and using your Vantage course with students.

If you would like to get started before attending training, there are some steps you can take to get started. Use this checklist to prepare by creating your course, making decisions about activities, and noting any questions you have about using Vantage.

1. Create your Vantage course

To begin, create your course. Find full instructions here: "How Do I Create My Vantage Course?"

Note your Course ID to share with students. It is unique and allows your students to enroll for the correct course.

2. Will you require activities in your Vantage Course?

Consider whether you will require the following activities in your course. You may do so at the chapter level:

  • Knowledge Checks
  • Video Activities
  • Chapter Quizzes
  • Other activities

3. Will you assign activities for a grade or completion?

You can require students engage with activities for a grade, or just for completion. Consider the following options and whether students must complete activities for:

  • a grade, using point score,
  • completion, with credit if done by due date, or
  • a combination of both where some activities are graded and others are for completion.
